about

BAITED!

How might we help people in Canada better understand how their everyday actions impact the ocean?
Does everyone know how the seafood n their plate is harvested?

BAITED is an interactive experience designed to raise awareness about overfishing. The concept challenges users to control a digital fishing net (projected on a wall) using hand movement picked up by a Kinect sensor, attempting to catch one specific species of fish among many. The twist? You always lose. The outcome reflects the unsustainable reality of modern fishing practices.

Below is the project context and a low-fidelity prototype demo. Please note this is a work in progress.
